Coloradobuffs - Welcome to the board! As you can tell the guys on hear love to have fun but there is a wealth of information to be had here. HaveBlue has told many a story that has busted my gut and I have the messy monitor to prove it.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune with Meineke and I hope they square it away with you with as little hassle as possible.

Had a similar problem with NTB when I brought them my new Taco with 150 miles on it. I brought them 4 new Bilstein HDs (to replace the crap "toyota Bilsteins") and some 1" coil spacers to install and realign for a quoted price of $180. They said it took 3 of them (the big one on a long prybar) to get the fronts in. Next thing I know, all the grease is blowing out of my outer CV boot When I brought it back, some moron from the shop stuck his head under it in the parking lot and says "defective boot!" Got it on a lift and found that they had cut my boot with that prybar. It even made an impression on the band clamp on the boot @ the hub. The manager agreed to have the shaft rebuilt, as it may have been contaminated. I asked for toyota parts, but it looks like they just pulled a stock rebuilt unit from whatever service they use for halfshafts. I hope they didn't put junk boots and joints on it. Then there was the time I left the dealership with a Snapon cordless impact and no waterpump belt under the hood of our Camry-but that's another story. Seems like most times I've paid someone else to work on a vehicle, they screw something up . Do it yourself if you can

Dont worry I will make sure those idoits get SAW rather than OME. He was shocked when I told him how much they were. The manager fired the guy that preformed the work.

I'm glad to hear that they are fixing it at no cost. I guess you learned an easy lesson at someone elses exense this time.

It could've been you with the pipewrench in your hand.

HEY! Just because a few morons do not know how to use proper grammar, you shouldn't blame all of CU. CU has some bad students like every other university. It's a good place to get educated and work (we have an awesome IT department up here). Now lets all pound back 5 bottles of 151 and get in a fight...

Who cares?
This is one thread out of how many thousands?
This doesn't classify how this YT community acts as a whole, just how a small group acts. If they want to take this thread and automatically assume that the whole place is like this then I will take a look at their thread and automatically assume that their forum is so dull that they have to look elsewhere for their laughs.

Is this true? Of course not!
Simply put...

Who cares?

Gosh. I'm honored. But apparently they've never seen Pirate.

If they were to rebuild the sway away, would it ride like new. Is there anything bad about having the shock rebuilt by replacing the shaft and seal. Would it be better to have a brand new one rather than the rebuilt shock. Thanks for your help.
