In an effort to try and find some answers on 4x innovations' tube doors for 4runners, i've found the reason none have been made

I could be interested in a group buy. Is it a fast process swapping the tubes on in place of the doors?

 

it's as fast as you make it. i'm thinking of slicing the wire's at the doors and creating a small wire plug (similar to cd player wiring harness) to sever the links between the body and door. after that just unscrew mounting bolts/hinges and voila. note, though, that's it's not going to be as simple as jeep doors, these are fullly framed with a window motor and lots of other weight inside.

So the 3rd gen pickup will work with a 2nd gen 4Runner, didn't see 2nd gen 4runners listed on their site. Never compaired the pickup doors the to 4Runners either, same size?

 

I can tell you for a fact, the 2002 ext-cab Taco doors are larger than that of a 3rd gen 4Runner.
