Needing a test rig! WI area
In an effort to try and find some answers on 4x innovations' tube doors for 4runners, i've found the reason none have been made
So like it says, if you're in the area and are willing to let them use your rig post up and contact him! Let me know on here or email if you decide so i can start negotiating specifics. Thanks guys
Weston,
We already really want to make doors for all models of 4 Runner. The problem is getting a mock up rig. We obviously can't just go buy every rig we need so we're at the mercy of who is around us and wants what. I'd love to find a truck in the WI area willing to come get a set of doors built.
Thank you,
Adam

Looks like Platteville, Wisconsin. http://4xinnovations.com/
I could be interested in a group buy. Is it a fast process swapping the tubes on in place of the doors?

it's as fast as you make it. i'm thinking of slicing the wire's at the doors and creating a small wire plug (similar to cd player wiring harness) to sever the links between the body and door. after that just unscrew mounting bolts/hinges and voila. note, though, that's it's not going to be as simple as jeep doors, these are fullly framed with a window motor and lots of other weight inside.
if you are interested in a group buy, shaffer's offroad is going to be the best bet as of now, post up on that thread

So the 3rd gen pickup will work with a 2nd gen 4Runner, didn't see 2nd gen 4runners listed on their site. Never compaired the pickup doors the to 4Runners either, same size?
