I need to take my fuse box out.. Or at least be able to turn it around so I can open it up. I've got it all unbolted and everything but I can't get the plug out of the bottom passenger side of it. Anyone know how to get this plug out? It's a regular plug but I just can't see it well enough to figure it out

actually.. I'm not even sure if thats what I need.. I just need to know how to get under the fuse box so I can unscrew the alternator fuse

ugh.. I gave up. Looks like I'll be having the truck towed to the dealership tommorow

 

The fuse block is snapped into the fuse box, you'll need to use a few screw drivers and some finesse to coax it out, here's a photo with my 4Runner's apart, they should be similar.

There's 4 tabs holding it in........

 

hrmm.. that looks so simple in your picture... heh... how many clips are there? I only found 4 or so and I thought I snapped them all lose yet the thing was still in there tight as hell

Now you got me wanting to take another stab at it.. heh.. I guess I don't need to unbolt the whole fuse box again... but damn, this thing is a bitch!

 

The wires hold it down, you'll need to unbolt a few to get it completely out.

Yep it's a tight fit...............

 

ok, just messed with it for a while longer.. Finally freaking got it. What a pain in the ASS! I even got electrocuted in the process... My finger is all burnt and split open and my body is still shaking, but hey.. I got the new fuse it and everything seems to work. My fuse box will never be the same again though.. heh

I disconected the negative terminal, but that obviously wasn't enough.. heh
