Hello all...

I am installing an Eclipse Audio/Navagation unit (GPS) on a '91 4Runner with auto trans, V6 3.0, 4WD. Instructions call for connecting the unit to the "speed sensor wire" Can anyboby help with locating and identifing this wire? I'm sure it goes into the ECU but what is the best way to find it... where else does it go (looking for a short route for connection)? Thanks to all who respond.

 

From the cruise control computer-left side o the instratment panel the speed sensor colors are white-black (w-b)

From the emission control computer the colors are green-blue (g-l)

From the ect solenoid to the ect computer the colors are brown-red (br-r)

Wire colors going into the ect solenoid are white-black (w-b)

hope this helps, the wiring shoulkd be almost identical to the wiring in the '91 pick up...w/ certian execptions of course......lol
