Need exhaust help -

Now before I get flamed - I searched several times and could not find the answer to my ?? - I've got an 03 taco and have done the
deckplate mod and was wondering what exhaust system to get
that flows well but "IS QUITE" as stock or almost as quite. I don't
want to listen to something that sounds like a riced out fart box.

Well thank God for that!

Have you listened to the sound clips on Corey's page? An 18" Magnaflow will be a little louder than stock, but a 24" Magnaflow will be quieter than stock.

What engine in the taco?

It’s very difficult to make the 5VZ sound like a “fartbox” – but if you have the 2.7, then that’s a different story. 4 bangers are much more prone to sounding like a swarm of bees on steroids stuck in a coffee can. A 60 or 70 series flowmaster would be quiet. Magnaflow seems like the muffler of choice around here though.
