or have them replace the tjm, reuse this one if your going to wheel it any way, since it looks like you just need new brackets, and sell the new tjm to help offset the cost of a winch, or still get the winch and use the money other mods. i know it was an accident but if it was my truck i would be soooooooooooo pissed and want something.

get estimates for the damages from 3 companies if you can for the OEM stuff. get 3 prices (high ones) for the TJM. they'll pay you w/ a check for the damages + the value of the TJM. then get a sport hood, new grill and lights, and new TJM brackets and do most of the work yourself. you'll save enough that way to get the winch and some synthetic line.

I guess next time you'll make time to wash your own truck. I hate to see wrecked pics of such a good looking truck. Hope you end up ahead in the end.

glad to see you did some damage to the building, and it looks like it is going to cost a pretty penny to fix that brick.

wow..what a freakin moron. id definitely hit em up for whatever you can...that was just truly idiotic and uncalled for. if buddy cant drive a stick..he shouldnt be workin ANYWHERE that requires him to drive other peoples cars.

hope you get some high quotes for your repairs...and at least some compensation for your troubles! and check your frame to make sure its still straight & square....that TJM sure held up well!

good luck!

Well guys, quick update. Just got back from the bodyshop the bumper is definitely bent right behind the driver's side bumperette, so it will need to be replaced, however it's more a dent than anything so I may be able to sell just the bumper later on after everything gets fixed. Headlights are going to be replaced, hood, possibly both fenders (won't know till the rest of the front end comes off) possibly both front fender flares according to whether or not the mounting tabs can be fixed, grill will need replacement. It also looks as if the holes where the bumper mounts to the frame are stripped out as well as the actual bolts themselves (not sure how they'll fix that). Gotta get a price on the bumper and the modifications I had done to it, plus the shipping and send that to the bodyshop before they'll do a complete estimate write-up on it. Hopefully I can get a high estimate and order my own parts and save enough to get my winch, but we'll see. Wish me luck fellas!

Doesn't matter if you don't know how to drive manual transmission- the brake is in the same place in every vehicle. And if you don't know how, don't try it in someone else's vehicle.

Glad to hear the owner took responsibility.

Oh believe me all that will be put back on there, it just pisses me off that i worked so hard to get all of that put on there in the first place and then this jackass smashes my new bumper hood and lights in less then 10 seconds. That sport hood and clear headlights and corners weren't even on there a year. This makes me sick the more i talk about it.

Man, sucks to hear about your rig. Hope that you come out ahead enough to get at least a winch.
