My new toy...
Hey guys,
Well, I got a new toy about a week ago...

I have been looking for a '75 or later FJ40 for about a year now, and finally found this one over Christmas break. My dad and I went up to MA to pick it up last week over my spring break. I know it isn't the prettiest one ever, but it was in my price range. It will be a long project for me, but when it's done, it will be awesome (I hope! ) I'm planning on doing a full restoration. This won't be a trail rig, but rather a toy for my own personal enjoyment. My 4Runner is pretty much able to satisfy all of my current off-roading needs/desires, so I'm not planning on making this into a rock crawler or anything. Well, let me know what y'all think. Take care guys-

We borrowed a friends' 2000 F-250 to pull it. I think that the cruiser weighs approx. 4000 lbs, so my 4Runner definitely wouldn't have been able to handle that. Besides, the trailer was pretty heavy too, so it was a good thing we were able to use his truck to tow it.

It is at my Grandma's house currently, which is in northwestern PA, in the Oil City/Franklin area - about 2 hours north of Pittsburgh.

Haha, sure Cebby....and if you really feel like helping me out, you can put a new tub in for me!!
Next time I head up that way (and go through Pittsburgh), I'll have to get in touch with you so we can link up or something.

Actually, it will need some body work. Lower doors, rear wheel wells, some front floorboard work. I'm toying with the idea of buying a whole new tub, but we'll see how funds work out.
And Lee, I paid $2K for it.
