Unhappy My Baby

Well last Tuesday i was on my way to pick up my mom cars. i pulled out of the complex and heard this loud noise and lost my power steering. i was able to make it back home. i got out of the truck and all my radiator fluid was leaking. i popped the hood and found a mess. my fan clutch pulley ( which was just replaced a month ago $651) had cracked and sent my fan into my radiator( replaced a year and half ago $550). so now i have a busted fan clutch pulley, fan, and radiator. i called the mech on wed who replaced it and he sent a tow truck over to get it. i am still waiting to hear from him. i just wanted to share how much i miss my baby!!!

Wow, that sounds like quite a mess. Is your mechanic gonna work with you on since the repairs were a month old? Hope it works out.

And, yeah, it sux not having your truck. Good Luck!

That sucks man! Sounds like just one more reason to get an electric fan and ditch the stupid clutch one!

kinda a silly question, but why not replace the stuff yourself?

I concur with the electric fan mod...

i called him yesterday and he said he was just waiting for the radiator to come in. he also said he had some trouble starting it up so it looks like my starter my also be going bad but he wasnt sure and he still had to look into it. i guess at least if the starter is bad it couldnt of picked a better time to go out...

Well guys in about 3 hours i will be going to pick up my baby. it has been in the shop for a little over a week. it took so long because they got one radiator and had to order another one cause it had a hole in it. and it turned out that my battery was dead and not the starter which is good. this is the most work my truck has had done in the shop and out of all the visits to the shop, this is the least i have had to pay!!! the only thing im paying for is the battery. i cant wait to get her back. i miss her so much!!

Good to see that everyone is standing behind their products and labor. I know that you are excited to get it back. Good luck.
