Multiple warning lights...

HELP!!

After completing the Free FMU, I drove the truck for about 6 miles. After stopping at the stop light, I slightly put on the gas and the check engine light, the VSC Trac light, and the Trac Off lights came on. I pulled into a gas station and removed the hose from the FPR to the boost port and replaced the nipples. After 3 hours the lights still come on. Upon startup, the engine light comes on immediately followed soon by the other 2.

The Supercharger as about 200 miles on it. I also read that you cannot reset by pulling the EFI fuse on a 2002 model. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks,
Nick

Disconnecting the battery should reset your lights, and then if they do come on again, investigate further.

I pulled the EFI (20A) fuse and that seemed to fix the problem. I'll redo the Free FMU and drive it to school and back tomorrow and let you all know if the lights come back. So I guess it is possible to reset by pulling the EFI on a 2002 model.

What ever problem you are having is not related to the Free-FMU mod, no way, no how...

I think you should look for something electrical. Check your battery connections and grounding connections on the body and engine.

Lights are all back on. This time it took about 30 miles. I tried pulling the EFI fuse and it still comes on. Looks like I'll be taking it to the dealer tomorrow unless you guys have a suggestion.

Thanks,
Nick

Blue Trane,

Whatever happened with this? I just got my S/C installed today and the same lights are on on my truck. What did the dealer do to fix this?

I took it to autozone to get the code. He said it was the lean code everybody gets. He cleared the code and the light hasn't come back on since. I also have not put the hose back on for the FREE FMU. I think that was causing the problem. The truck was just in for its 15K checkup and everything checked out well.

Thanks for the info. Funny thing is that now the lights are not coming on again. They only turn on when i start it up but then shut off as they are supposed to. Weird. Im hoping the ecu is still adjusting since i have only put about 50 miles with the supercharger.
