hi i got a 97 tacoma 3rz, i have a thrush welded on there now. and its just not loud enough so i have a few that im looking at. the cherry bomb extreme, magnaflow 14'' oval and the flow super 44. I do not know what to get. i know the cherry bomb will be be the loudest but it requires the most to install( bigger inlet/outlet and being half the length) i dont wanna buy another muffler and it not be louder then my thrush. anyone have experience with these? thanks

 

there is tons of links on youtube, haven't looked for the 2.7, but tons for the 3.4.

 

Cut tailpipe off after muffler or get a small Magnaflow or Flowmaster 40

 

I have a flowmaster 40 on my 3.4 and i love the sound. And snowrunner is right, if you want it loud try putting a turndown pipe right after the muffler. I ran mine like this for a while and its so deep and growls like no other but still sounds very good.

 

yo, i decided to get a flow original 40 dumped before the axle. its the cheapest and best sounding one IMO. i saw a 2.7 with a 40 with no turndown and it was pretty loud and sounded good so this is even better!. thanks
