Mud shot...

Hey everyone,

Here is a pretty good mud shot from the last rain... This shot was taken at Chew's Ridge in Carmel Valley... And yes I do have mud all over the interior of my car...

I am still looking for a 1/4" thick skid plate, for a 96 third gen runner...
I may end up having one fabricated somewhere to match my stock skid plate, only thicker...

I must of hit about 10 rocks that night..

Bummer...

Any suggestions for a aftermarket one?

Cheers!
LRI

DAMN! Very nice. Like a mud bath for the paint. What is that sticking out of the rear driver side door? Looks like a floor mat? :fireman:

I think Steve told me that they don't make skidplates anymore.

I think their link is still up for them though.

heh, last weekend I was playing in the mudd around knox/whitley county here in ketucky cause we got tired of trying to wait on a deer to show up so that we could shoot it.

And a day this weekend is going to be dedicated to cleaning the interior of my truck too... its a mess.

yeah my buddy's truck in the background is running super swamper tires at some rediculous size. But when you run a truck that has a huge 400 something cu in engine, solid front axle swap, rear locker, etc etc etc he should have the authority to spray my truck.. luckly he didn't do it while the doors were open. But my truck is still a mess. And I am using bfg radial a/t tires... they are what came on the truck when i bought it a couple of months ago.

The funny thing this weekend was that in just playing around (light stuff) i was able to go everywhere he was except in about 2 or 3 spots. and those were due to my truck not being highenough to get through the mud/stream and the huge dip in the road that his bumper drag'd on when he went through.

All in all it was a fun weekend. Just imagine how long it took me to clean this... Let me point your attention to the hood lol

heh, I already cleaned it. All I did was spray about an entire bottle of degreaser and then sprayed it off with the hose and then wiped everything down.
