Mounting option for a Viair 2.5 Gal tank

Soo I've had this tank for some time with minimal reluctancy of installation, just not having enought time. Well when it occoured to me I wasnt certain where I was going to install it. Damn I thought I wanted to mount it externally like right in front of the fuel tank ,,,, but didnt look like there was quite enough room. soo who has a tank and where did you mount it?

Mine is in the rear cargo area...what is left of it. But when my exo cage is one it will get mounted inside a small tool box (like the ones that are on the sides of full size pickups).

I have two of them mounted. Currently they are under my truck box, of no use to you. But in my runner I built a false floor, mounted one per side and had a large storage area in the middle. Worked great.

Ok there sure as hell isnt enough room under the truck w/o removing the spare,,, Its not goin on the roof again again, the 33 is a pain to through off the roof. Sooo I guess Ill have to mount it interior on one of the wheel humps.

AH64ID said he mounts it under his truck box

If you can find a good condition 1st gen rollbar, I've seen how useful that can be for things like air and a fire extenguisher.

Not sure about 3rd Gens, but on the 2nd Gen there's a perfect spot directly above the rear axle.

I'll check the dimensions again but I think that spot might be to small but maybe I'll get a break and it will work.
