Most miles with supercharger

I have an '02 4Runner that I have all the parts to perform the supercharger installation. (To include supercharger, 7th injector, valve body upgrade). My truck has 110,000 miles. I really enjoy the reliability of this truck. I'm wondering if my truck is too long in the tooth to put the supercharger on. I'm curious what some of the mileage of the trucks running around are and what I can expect.

Are there any supercharged trucks in the Grass Valley/Nevada City area?

I've heard of people getting superchargers at 200,000 miles. It really depends on the condition of your engine. Get a compression check before you start.

Late to the S/C game

I put one on my rig at around 165K (now 185K). That's after the de-sludg-ification at 150K. Compression was good. Ran like a champ before, ran great after. Took it off once due to a loose pulley and man, was I sad. That went back on in a hurry. Now, I don't feel it like it's got tons more power. I just does. Best upgrade EVER!

I installed mine at 125k miles, long as the engine is in good condition you will be fine. Just change the oil a bit more often and use better oil after the supercharger is all i would do.

my wife's truck has over 180K with the supercharger that was put on when delivered. The supercharger was replaced by Toyota at 38K, and so far no other problems. No 7th injector.
