why do people hate on the higher lifted trucks. Sure they are street queens, but I think they look awsome. Someone put alot of hard work and money into thoes

at least they kept the stock OD tires for the rpm's and mph's, or at least it looks that way. can you imagine trying to hop up into that thing with no sliders or running boards?!

some more detailed pics of the suspension would be interesting to look at.

it's keeps them from having to go really expensive on it, haha, by having to regear and recal the speedo for larger tires.

Most people here just go big and dont regrear. The high trucks only come out for sunday cruises. Other wise they gots another car to drive daily. Seeing the trucks in person opsed to the pictures is different. Lelands truck is a show queen now, and it has won its share of trophys. Thats a old photo, and like stated before his undercarrage is chrome now. As for the price of tires, once you hit 33s there not much price difference between 35s. Is somthing like $25 per tire.

As for getting into the lifted trucks with no sliders or runing boards I cnat figure out how they do it. But Lelands truck is running if I rember right 8 supsension with 2 inch body.

I'm talking about regearing being expensive. you can put bigger than stock tires on with stock gears but it'll suffer powerwise. I ran 33's with stick 4.10's and it opened my eyes so I regeared to 4.88's. I wheel mine though so it's a different case.

but thoes cars dont make you feel like a man. Its manly to climb in and out of high lifted trucks. Dont tease the subaru wagons, thier actually kind of fun to drive. My friend had a lowered and modifyed Impreza wagon, and I was hitting turns at over 70mph and it didnt loose grip. I tried the same in a GT mustang and began sliding all over the place. Not sayin I would be caught dead driving thoes, but they are pretty fun to drive.

bah. You guys all talk......

Mines bigger.

No mines bigger.

My place is better.

No my place is better.

Lets see some pics guys!!!!!! I know it's kinda hard to get a pick of every huge truck, but lets SHOW everyone how it's done in your area.

personally, i live in san diego and trucks seem to be built more for FUNCTION. Because there is the mountains, desert, snow, and even mexico sooooo close, people all drive lifted trucks, but within reason. Nothing crazy to look at....... but fun to use.

I like the way they look but I'd never bother because I want to wheel. If I'm gonna mall cruise, it will be in a vintage muscle car, not a rice burning monster truck. I think HOJU has the right combination. Nice rig brau!
