Modified TJM T-15 is finally on!

Well guys I finally made time to get the TJM modified and put on this weekend and it turned out great. Basically I didn't really care for the large hoops over the lights so I had them cut down and remounted lower. I think it came out well. The lights behind the grill are gonna come out and I haven't quite decided what foglights are going on the bumper itself. Winch will be in as soon as I can afford it. Sorry I only have 2 pics the camera died when we were wheeling, more to come tomorrow hopefully. Let me know what you think.

I like the look of the short hoops, but it looks like it'll interfere with the pattern of the headlights and the especially the floods. It could also cause a good bit of reflective glare back up the hood...

Have you had a chance to flip on the lights at night yet?

The way it's sitting makes it look like it's in front of the lights, but it's really not, just a bad angle. Headlights work great at night no distraction at all. The lights behind the grill will be coming out soon, and I will replace them with some Hella 4000's or IPF's or something to go on the bumper itself.

Damn, nice, nice, whered you have it done at? I like the T15 a lot, but I never cared for the hoops over the lights. Personally, I would have had them removed if possible, and just kept the center one, like a Sahara Bar. I like it a lot though, looks sick.

I'm a senior graduating in May. You go to USC?

Thanks for the compliments guys! I had a local welder who I trust cut the hoops and remount them lower. He did an awesome job, then I primed and painted the welds with some satin rattle can and it came out great. The paint matches perfectly and you can barely see any grind marks.

Yeah I remember your thread about the T-17 with a center hoop and that got me thinking. Then the very next day I saw (forgive me for what i'm about to mention) a Jeep Wrangler with the ARB bar on it and it was set up very similar to what I wanted to do to mine, so I basically stole their design and had mine cut and remounted. As far as the bumper itself, it is very stout. The mounting brackets and the way this thing mounts is incredible. So far I'm very pleased with the TJM.

Yeah that's what I kept saying to myself, except I kept replacing "brave" for "stupid"
