master cylinder

ok i was going to replace my master cylinder today and this is what mine looks like
master
and this is the only one that showed up for my truck.
brake master

notice the difference in where the lines go in, i called the auto parts store and they say thats the only one that shows up and its the same from 83 and up. does anyone else have a master like this or is my truck different.

Is the only difference where the hydraulic line goes into the top instead of the side? If everything else lines up (ie. where the master cylinder mates to the brake booster), I would think it'd be fine, its just a aftermarket master cylinder, not a toyota part, so some differences would be expected.

Is it an original Toyota part? OR is it another manufacturer's version of a Toyota part?

If it's the latter the parts store isn't really doing anything wrong.
It probably is better for you to get an OEM part anyway.
