Magnaflow 11225

My stock muffler is done. I see that the magnaflow 11225 has a good reputation on here> How is the sound in cab on highways? Is it a drone? And just on street with the windows up, do you hear the muffler? I have read all the threads so far put havent come across that yet. Any other muffler suggestions? some growl, and NO rice!

Go with a longer Magnaflow, like 18 inch. The shorter it is, the louder it is (generally speaking).

The one you posted is perfection to say the least.
I am on my 2nd one, as the first one developed a crack and was covered under warranty.

With the windows up on the highway, you hear a nice low tone, no droning.
My tires are actually louder on the highway than the Magnaflow.

Around town with the windows down some it sounds great.
Nice and deep, but not to loud.

I think you will like it, many here do.
I'd get the same muffler in a heartbeat if this one messed up, or I was building up another Toyota.

There is no rice at all with this muffler.

Whoops, I guess my post was confusing. Just go with what Corey said. I myself like something a bit louder (which might drone).

I wish mine was a bit louder
It does sound very sexy though.

With the windows up, it's just a drone like corey said. You can barely tell it's there.

That's what I run. it sounds great and no drone on the highway. while wheeling I get alot of questions of which muffler it is and lots of compliments that it sounds good. so I'd say go with this one.
