Is the LSPV spring rod suppose to be straight or does it have a large bow in it? I recently had a limb hand up between the spare tire and rear differential, after my brakes started acting funny, I noticed the the LSPV rod was bent in a bow as if it was clearing the spare tire. It will clear the tire even if straight but have never paid alot of attention to it till I started having the funny feeling braking problem and remembered the limb being hung under there. The FSM shows it as being straight but can't really say!!

 

mines the same way, always has since i bought it and my brakes are fine..., anyone know for sure?

 

It has odd bends in it.
