For a lowered Runner it actually looks pretty good.

Yeah I suppose it could use a chop top, roof rack, a couple ARBs, some MTs, and a mild thirteen inch lift. Minor quick fixes!

I seriously have no comment on that! I cannot think of a sarcastic remark.

I agree. Some nice mods like the clear Supra 3rd brake on the top of the gate, the side markers and color matched grille.

That thing is too gaudy. Toyota sticker on the back is awfull. Too much chrome. Plan old fugly if you ask me.

It's a half assed truck anyways. It's stock except for being lowered, new wheels/tires, and some paint. You have to do more than that to impress people with that style of car.

And why is it on "speedhawaii.com" ? It's got the 3.slow!

I like it

I like it actually. It's that paint job that gets me, it's beautiful, and it's my favorite color. If you're going to go that route though, loose the mud flaps. The side bars are there because the driver is a midget obviously. That's why it's lowered in the first place. I mean think about it -- to a midget it IS lifted! The only other thing I don't like is the 3rd gen. rear bumper that he stuck on there. It sticks out even on the sides and looks disproportional to me.

Yes...rev4runner or something like that.......but the difference is, he spent THOUSANDS on his truck. You can tell he really spent a lot of time and effort on that truck. Not half assed like this thing. Check it out, tell me if you dont think this blue thing is worthless looking at a well built vehicle like this.... (not my style, but I have to give props to anyone who does work like this)

I am not into the whole mini truckin' thing but I have to admit that rev4runner's truck is extremely nice. Really done up well.

The blue example can't be compared to the orange one. Not even close to being in the same class.

Maybe he's a midget and needs the nerf bars to make the HUGE leap into the cab and the mud flaps to keep the nerf clean and dry

But it looks ok I guess

Orange is nice too

The orange one is really goofy looking. Especially the spoiler, thats extremely goofy. You're right though, he definately gets props for craftsmanship. If ya want to go overboard, that's the way to do it! I can't imagine all the time spent fiberglassing those bumpers and sideskirts, if I can call them that. He must have been high for days (if you've worked with fiberglass you know what I mean!). The essence of an SUV is to be able to go where the cars can't go though. Have you seen those hilarious commercials on t.v. for the VW Toureg? Heck, even Porsche figured it out. I think you could classify the "styles" though as 3 different ones. You have art like these two, and you have functionality (being offroad capabilities). Then you also have some power guys who don't care about anything but how fast it goes! I think we're all a mixture of the three, just in different proportions.
