LOw IDLE

Looking at a 89 4x4 to buy for my son. Everything seems fine it is a rebuilt motor with just 11k. My concern is when I drove it at a stop it would idle so low it seemed like it was going to die. It never did and the owner told me it never has. Is this an easy fix or a sign of a bigger problem???

Thanks
Brian

maybe somebody didnt adjust the idle properly during the rebuild. On my V6 there is a screw right by the throttle body that you can adjust the idle with.
