Smile Love my 4runner, maintenance questions

It's about that time, I'm at 173k miles, not really any problems yet but I thought i'd give her a breather.

So, I just added 1/3 can seafoam via PCV valve, waited an hour... Drove her around she coughed out some smoke but no real noticeable improvement. I was skeptical at first.

Added another 1/3 can waited 2 hours, this time she coughed out about the same smoke but MAN she ran so much smoother. My baby's back!

Added the last of the can, and I'm going to wait about 4 or 5 hours before the last run.

So next I plan on adding my other 2 cans to half a tank of gas, running her until around empty and refilling.

I also plan, on:

Cleaning the KN Air Filter
Oil Change (she's been on mobile one synthetic since I got her)
Replace Plugs + Wires (got some denso plugs and NGK wires)
Cleaning the throttle body if needed when I do the plugs
and finally
Clean MAFS (if necessary)

My question, is do I need to wait until I drain the tank with the seafoam in it before I replace plugs or do the Oil Change? Forgive me I'm not very mechanically inclined, it will be my first time doing regular maintenance besides an oil change

Thanks guys, also, is their any other easy maintenance I should add into my plan? Or actually, at around 170k what should I have the shop do for me?

Dont worry about the seafoam in the tank before/after the plugs. Either method is fine.
At 173K I would check the tranny fluid and change if needed, do the front/rear differentials and the transfer case.
Coolant swap would be a good idea as well.

will do, thanks

today I finished the plugs and wires, and cleaned the k&n filter... I'm going to drive it a bit before I clean the MAFS and the throttle body in case the oil from the air filter comes off a little.

More progress.

Removed the throttle body to clean it out, and decided to go ahead and dremel the D lip off the gasket. Also drilled some holes in the airbox for extra flow.

She's running like a bauce.

I'm thinking about porting an polishing the TB, any thoughts on that? worth the time? Also, does the ISR mod require a tune?

I used seafoam for many of my rides, but then I heard someone say that they are bad for your fuel injectors....?

I started using highest octane gas instead (91 in CA)

Cleaned the MAFS today, still got the ISR mod up for debate.
