He doesn't need an extra battery in series he needs it in parallel. I was just being picky at a typo.

If you read his post, even though he says series. he meant parallel. He's using the term series as adding a second battery to the system. A common mistake that people make.......

use 3 batts in serial to do some mild welding. 36 volts was like the magic number, i remember reading from a mag.

2 batts with 24 volts is like the minimum.

yes you are right parallel. And as for this hand dcab you daym straight this is a powerful hand. This hand held oon to the back of my truck and prevent it from fallin into the deeap and dark ditch
