A little help please?
I bought an OEM bug deflector today from my local stealer and the instructions tell you to clean part of the hood with 3M Prep Solven -70. Never heard of it! Where can I get it or can I use something else instead? My son says just use rubbing alcohol but would that damage the clear coat? I want get the thing on 'cause I am going on vacation on Saturday down south where there are lots of bugs!
Thanks,
Jim

Herd72,
You should read this thread https://www.yotatech.com/forums/show...=bug+deflector before you do anything.

Thanks for all the help.
I will try to be extra careful and go ahead and put on the OEM deflector and watch closely for the clearance on the screws. I think I can figure it out and will go slow. PS great idea about tying the thread to the small parts. Will come in handy for all kinds of stuff.
