hey everyone.. i'm looking for some good *driving* light recommendations.. my limit is about $150 (so that counts out PIAAs, unless someone knows where to find em cheap ). so what are some brands/models for that price range with a decent rep?

I think most people will suggest the Hellas - Ebay has some pretty good prices on them.

Although, I got my PIAAs for about $150 off Ebay too so who knows what you'll find there.

 

what model hellas? the 500s?

 

I think that's the predominant suggestion, yeah...

 

500s are good, but for $150, you might be able to bump up a model. Check the prices, but you might be able to get into a FF1000 or similar.

Any lamp from Hella is going to be good, just find the one that suits your needs/budget the best.

 

On ebay you can get hella 500s for $60 shipped fro ptcfactoryoutlet.com. Or their website. they are great on the phone as well. good stuff.
