Did ya ever get them out? I kept meaning to take pictures and reply, but I kept forgetting. The clear covers should just pop out with a screwdriver. Get the bulbs out and go to an auto shop and look for the same type.

I went and looked at them today and found that the middle and the rear lens just pop out with a screwdriver. The front ones are a little more tricky. You have to pop off the whole thing surrounding the mirror. You pop off the small panel first. That lets you get a screwdriver into the back to pop off the rest of it.

I'll post some pics later,
Steve

yeah it should be really easy, they just pop right off. you should get some different colored ones, i think that adds a really unique and nice look. just liek a simple red or blue, nothing fancy.

Here's the pics:

I used my pocket knife to pop this piece out. Removal of that piece lets you use a screwdriver to push on the back to pop the whole thing off.

but what if mine don't look like that? I have a light cove on my map lights in the front but unlike the dome light in the middle it doesn't have a gap for me to stick a screwdriver in to pop it out....i may take pics tomorrow i'll post them if i get a chance to.

Yehaw was wondering how to get them off. After replacing the domelight the maplights definitly need done too! They look the same as the dome to me.

I'm pretty sure they sell those lights at places like Autozone or Checker/Shucks/Kragen, Pep Boys etc. Look for numbers on the bulb somewhere and match them with numpers on the packages or take the bulb in with you and visually match them.

For anyone curious about lights

Dome lights are very tricky when you change colors on them. If you just get covers for regular white bulbs, they will give a good color, but they are limited on what colors you can get. If the bulbs are colored, they usually have painted glass. If you get oil or grease on the bulbs, even the grease on your fingers, they will discolor in no time. I put a blue one in, it turned yellow in about a month. The next one I put in I held the bulb in a napkin, and never actually touched the glass, and it has kept its color much better. Just thought I would let people know, I'm sure there is some curious person out there about to ask a question about these, so hope this helps anyone looking for dome lights.

yeah I have a two color one in my dome light it's purple and blue, although the blue looks more teal to me, anyways took it out because it was kinda dark and it got replaced by PIAA xtreme white ones, very nice and bright now
