i would never use HID bulbs in the halogen reflectors...what i plan on doing is getting some bixenon projectors from ebay and then boring out the back of the headlight housing to fit the projectors in there. That way you retain the hi/lo beam and you get the clean cut off of the projectors.

Or you could just paint your stock headlights and mount the bi-xenons in your bumper. I have thought of doing that on my TJM.

Just a thought... Espcially with lifted rigs, it will keep glare to a min and you will have max light spread, b/c you won't have to be pointing them so low.

hmm that's a good idea actually open up the clear cover and then paint the reflector flat black so the only thing showing would be the projectors...oh man that would be sick.

I dont know bout mounting the bixenon projectors on the bumper as they are not sealed from the element so that may not be a good thing

Hella 500s for 60bucks, more light than I can ask for as far as brightness and visability I agree on HID being more of a cosmatic change but it looks so sweet.
