for my old driving lights, i didn't use a switch. I bypassed the switch by just wiring that lead from the relay right into the high beam light wire right behind the bulb. I think you can run a wire for power from the switch to the same wire. That is how my fogs are set up but they are tapped into the low beam wire under the steering column inside the dash. I think the red and green wire down there on my 98 runner is for high beam power but i'm not sure. Worst comes to worst i will just run a wire from the switch back thru the firewall and up to the wiring harness at the bulb and tap into it there. Hope this helped

i would guess that the red black is the ground. you can always pull the the plug out of the bulb. Put your high beams on and then stick the wire from your driving light wiring harness and see which one lights up your driving lights. I did this the first time i wired lights on my old van. I'm also assuming, and i know why i shouldn't assume, but i'm goin to do it, the wire will be the same color behind the bulb and under the dash. give me a minute and i'll check and see in my runner

i'd say pull the cover off the steering column and break out the wire tester. toyotas aren't usually too hard to figure out, unless you look at the wiring diagram

what colors are the two wires that are giving you power? this may be a dumb question but do your low beams stay on with your highs? Let me know what color the two wires are
