I am thinking about lifting my dbl. cab. What is the best route to take?

1. I dont want to sacrafice ride quality.

2. What size wheels should I get? I dont want the wheels to stick outside my wheel arches (no scratches).

3. Will lifting my truck sacrafice any towing? I tow my trailer for my karts and motorcycles.

I hope I am not being unreasonable but a mild lift sounds good with maybe some Land Cruiser rims.

I personally really like the looks of the adjustable Fabtech 3.5 Coilover Kit, if your not going to off road it much, people will tell you that the CO's are overkill. I personally like them, its what I am putting on my 04 Double Cab, along with 15" wheels and 33X10.50 BFG Mud Terrains.

 

I was thinking of a 2" OME lift with some Deaver leaf springs. And for some "bling" I would buy some LC rims.

Always a nice choice.
I am going with Wheelers polished 15" steel rims. They are some of the only 15's that will fit on our trucks if they came equipped with the 16" wheels.

 

Is there anything else I am forgetting?

What size tires?

Any other modifications should I include?

 

Hey Jonathan, have you checked out Des Moines Offroad. Not that anyone here cant help you on lifting your truck.
I have been in a couple of times. Nice guy and does alot of custom stuff. Thier website has been down for sometime now for updates. but its across the street and down the hill from Keysters Bar. sorry i only seam to be able to reference a bar.

I was there earlier this year. I hope they didnt close. I was going to have him make me a rear bumper once i got the money.
