So I was bored today and went to go take my waverunner out decided to go to the back side of the lake and shore launch. Ground looked just fine so i a little closer to the water to turn and line up to back into the water...i didnt get very far into the turn. Luckily there was a guy fishing 100 yrds to the side of me and he was able to come and yank me out real quick. Needless to say i just went to the boat launch and paid the 10 bucks and to top it all off the stupid ski wouldnt start...oh well just one of those days when nothing goes right. Im sure if i had some more aggressive tires i would have been much better off.

Reminds me of what happened when my buddy thought his F350 was mud machine! Stuck to the framerails with water on one side and slop on the other!! It took another super duty and lots of redneck engineering to get it out..
Even with mud tires you'd still have been in a world of hurt!

I was in a friends 05 rubicon, offroad machine my donkey! We took it into a mudhole we drove fine in my t100 in and a really powerless lifted ford ranger just a day ago.
Drove it in, gets stuck, flip on lockers, get stuck up to the frame rails. Then since its the only truck we took, had to call my brother to come and get us at the trailhead and drive us to get another truck, then get some chains cause thats all we had. In the process of walking out I got incredibly muddy.
Yea jeep is awesome offroad, a locked rubicon with mud terrains couldnt get out of a stinking mud hole?

The only thing you could really try would be to take off the trailer and rock the truck back and forth (forward and reverse) to try to work your way out. I've gotten out of stuff similar to that without lockers or Muds. It just took a damn long time and a lot of gas.

Not to mention a lot of wear and tear on your transmission. If you're that stuck, it's probably best to get someone to pull you out.
I got stuck years ago with a friend in his brand spankin' new Jeep Wrangler X. He spent a good two hours trying to rock back and forth to get it out, and eventually he did. But it cost him a new clutch and who knows what kind of long term tranny damage. It ended up catching on fire in the parking lot a couple years later and insurance covered it.
Now that's a quality vehicle!!

haha yeah i didnt really try to get out, i *think* i might have been able to back out but who knows. i was only stuck for 5-10 mins so it a big deal. Plus with gas at 5.14 up here in mammoth ill pass on wasting it. thats a funny story about the jeep.
