Led exterior question
Has any body used led flashers, if so any problems?
Also I want some leds for parklights but don't know wat color would look good. I have fake blue hid bulbs that look whitish blue

Also if you change all of your exterior bulbs out it should also remedy that (turn signals that is)

you still will, the above statement is not true...you need a LED flasher, do not add a load resistor to stop you hyper flash, you are basically loosing the benefit of low amperage draw you get from LEDs just buy the relay, they are only like $15

The reason for the fast clicking is to let you know that you have a bulb out, but since those LEDs will probably outlive you, you're in good shape if the noise doesn't bother you.

you might consider leaving your stock turn signals as is-and using side marker LED's in addition to them.
I did Hella LED side markers-not particularly difficult to cut into the fenders and now have that Euro style complement to my ride. You might be noticing a lot of the newer cars have side markers now. I have no problems with quick flash indicators whatsoever.
I tried to use LED bulbs in the back for my brake/tail lights and it always threw the ABS code and disabled the cruise control. Not worth it in my mind-I simply returned to regular dual filament bulbs.

I'm running LEDs in all my exterior lighting, and I went the resistor route. I will agree with the above posts though, an LED flasher is the way to go. That said, I ran "plug and play" LED bulbs for a while, and even the expensive ones are no where near as bright as standard filament bulbs. I made my own LED arrays and am very happy with them:

Hey thanks man... I am just really big into LEDs and HIDs... Just lighting in general I guess! I've had much greater success making my own LED arrays as opposed to buying pre-made bulbs; it's A LOT cheaper, and they are much more reliable as well... but the best thing is they are WAY BRIGHTER.
