leaky water pump....

I think I have a leaking water pump and I'm wondering how long its safe to drive with a leaky water pump. I just noticed it. I'm guessing its from the sudden cool down with weather lately. Red fluid drip drip drip from the front of the motor. Its dripping off that wiring loom encased in a hard white plastic next to the front cross member.

I've noticed a slow loss in coolant from the coolant overflow but I've tried to keep it topped off. I'm thinking this isn't a job I will tackle on my own but I know it won't be cheap to have someone do the timing belt/pump and everything so I'm wondering how much time I have. I'm guessing there shouldn't be too much to worry about from a cooling aspect since its getting COLD here now but I'm a little worried if the pump will stop working/circulating coolant.

Truck Info:
'00 4runner sr5 v6
~170k
water pump changed out around ~30k under warranty due to leak.
last timing belt done at ~110k, no water pump.

Get ready for a timing belt/WP change sooner than later. If the WP goes, it will take the belt with it.
