LC engineering headers not fitting right on my 3rz
I finally get around to changing exhaust manifold with LCE headers at a local shop. And realize it was a good thing, because the stock manifold had developed a big crack in between cylinders 2 and 3. I get the LCE header connected to the EGR pipe. As I am trying to fit it on the engine block, I notice the lower part of the header is hitting the sway bar mount. I can only get it on the back studs and about an inch more left to go on the front ones. It still needs to swing a bit more to fit properly on to the engine block. But it is hitting the sway bar mount. I just need a 1/2 inch or more of clearance to make it fit. I can't grind down the sway bar mount without relocating it. My only theory is that when they were making the header the angle is out of spec. Causing the header to come out to far and thus hitting the sway bar.
This happened Friday around 6pm and I cant get a hold of LCE until their calling hours on Monday. Did anyone run into any problems with their header install or am I doing something wrong? I made sure I ordered the right part for a 2wd 3RZ 4runner.... Any advice?
I wish I took pictures, but it was late and I was not happy with the results at all and called it a day. Having to leave my 4runner at the shop..
I searched and saw no other threads about anyone else with a 3rd gen 4runner having this problem. Sorry for the few post I have. I have been searching and finding answers more than posting.

I was looking at getting LCE headers for my Taco and remember them not being available for 4Runners. Maybe for this reason?
From LCE-
"LCE 2RZ/3RZ header kits are direct fit on single catalytic trucks only."

the headers fit but the cat and header are one piece. In tacomas I believe it's two pieces. I've got a 4runner with the same header I didn't have a problem with the sway bar. I did have to cut the mount for the old header but that was it. Keep messing with it. It might just be your angle. I thought it was super awkward when making it fit but that's just me.
