Also i was interested in lifting my truck up 1.5 - 2 inches. what is the cheapest way to do this?

You can lift it using the spacers as you found out but a better and not much more expensive way would be to use FJ80 Landcruiser springs in the rear and Tundra TRD springs up front.

You could do a body lift as well, that's probably the cheapest way to go.

http://4crawler.com/4x4/ForSale/Toyo...BodyLift.shtml for body lift. I'd stick with a 1.5" or 2" body. Parts should be around $200.
