L.E.D interior lights?

I remember seeing it on this forum. Someone had custom built LED bulbs in the dash and center console, I cant find the thread. If someone can find it for me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks

You can check the section on www.customtacos.com , many there have done this mod, but one complaint is that they aren't bright enough.

I was looking for this thread as well. I am almost finished with mine, got sidetracked for awhile. I think wildbill (sp) still has a site about it.

Hey that looks familiar . If you have any questions on it let me know. There's at least a couple others here who have done it as well, I don't know if there are any other write-ups though.

I swapped the little green bulbs in my dash and heater faceplate for some red led's i soldered up to soe small resistors, and they look great! they dim with the dimmer and really help out the eyes at night. I would highly reccomend this mod to anyone!

Replaced mine with led bulbs directly. Did not want to drill and solder in more bulbs like wildbill so I just did a direct swap. They are nice but definitely not as bright. Its like a nice soft glow. For the bigger bulbs behind the dash, the light spreads out nicely but I have yet to find a way to have the light disperse evenly with the two tiny bulbs behind the heater panel. Its not perfect, but I can live with it. At first I wanted that superwhite led light like in the new accords, but if you try those behind the panels, they dont shine white but like a cyan color due to the yellowish backing on the numbers and symbols. I now have blue leds in and love them. Also did Butnuts blue turn signal mod while I was at it. Looks great with the blue lights. There are a few bad pics in my sig but they dont do the lights justice. My camera doesnt pick up the blue lighting that well.
