knock sensor?

knock sensor?
Anyone know much about these? I seem to recall folks mentioning problems with the knock sensor or the wiring to it on the 3.0 engines. I am getting serious pinging and am wondering if it could be the problem.

I'm not sure if that would cause the pinging but if you have to get one I have one for sale. I have tested it according to the manual and it tested good. Also have a new wire.
