Never purchase tires from kimmel tire. I go knowing what i want(BFG KOs). I tell him what I want so he says it'll be an hour. I come back an hour later and the guy says hes cleaning up the white letter on the side come take a look and I look and it looks ok but the tread doesnt look as thick as the pictures ive seen on this website and on the H2s. Anyway I get home and get out and look and it turns out they are long trail T/As and the reciept even says BFG KOs on it. The KOs and the long trail are the same price so I bet the kimmel people tried to pull a fast one because i heard the guys talking about how they never had certain tires in stock that they wanted. I figure they just used the same tire of the same price and took me as ignorant. Im gonna go back and get my KOs god damn it. Never buy from kimmel.

 

Man oh man I'm sorry to hear that dude. I make it a habit to check mechanic work before I drive away because of things like that. They know I double check their work & didn't like it at first...but they understand now.

I hope all goes smooth with gettin' your KO's when you go back.

That's unbelievable!! If I were you i'd take a picture or two and copy the invoice and send it to BFG Corporate headquarters. There is a chance Kimmel will loose their liscence to sell BFGs. Also write to the Better Buisness Bureau in your area. You have to write a statement if you want to report it to the BBB. Try to pick a time when there are several other customers in the store when you go back in, then raise hell and make sure all the customers hear your complaint. That should convince them to make it right in a hurry.

I have never heard of this company, but thanks for the warning. Good luck, keep us posted on what happens.
