K&N FIPK?

I recently installed and I think I installed it correctly. However I need to see a pic of your install.

Is a peice of the air orginal air box susposed to be attatched? or am i suspose to run the bigger hose from the engine to the back plate of the K&N.

There are pics on the board somewhere. I couldn't find them, but I used them when I installed my FIPK. If you go to K&N's website, you can download the install brochure for free.
On mine, I have the original flex hose from the throttle body connected to the K&N tube. The K&N tube is then connected to the air cleaner.

What happens if you bypass that Resonator Chamber? Whats it do?

which resonator? The one mike has in that photo? Or the resonator elbow?

Its the one in the photo p/n 6602 in the pic... or looks like that part number.

if I had to venture a guess id say it is just a silencer...there is a vacuum hose coming from it going into the intake.... A toyota tech should post in on this.
