JY find, auto dim mirror

Well I think it is an auto dimming mirror! Has Metagal on the back and a light sensor, what do you guys think? Not sure if I want to keep it or sell it yet but it's in terrific shape. I cut the harness at the fuse box so I would know exactly the same place to tap later.

Looks good terminator... rare to find them with the right arm to attach to the map lights... most I find seem to be glass mount types...

Thanks
I've been searching online Metagal Mirrors and haven't really found too much about it.

Yeah I would like to know that as well but I did the auto dimming mirror and mounting it to the windshield wasn't that tough. Check out how I did it here: https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f2/g...nstall-134747/

Mine came out of a GM Chevy Suburban complete with the harness and sensor. There are only a few companies that make these mirrors, mine was a Gentec

I pulled this from a 97 SR5 2WD 4Runner that had leather interior and wood trim. I had been waiting for 2 months for this truck to hit the yard and when it did this week it got picked apart fast. Still has the factory alarm in it though.

That's what I thought... My mother had a '96 or '97 4wd SR5, cant remember, and it had the auto dimming mirror. I loved driving that thing. Those mirrors are sweet, I'd love to get a hold of one
