Thanks for the welcome!

NO, It's not going over the stock peice, my exhaust guy didn't have the right size pipe so he expanded it up.

I told him make it 2.75" OD expanded from a 2.5 od pipe.

He made it too big really, and it was difficult to slip the boots back on.

I had to use those ugly hose clamps, the stock clamps were too small.

I want to have it remade were the expanded part is only about 1/3 the depth it is now so that the boots will cover it, and reduce the OD some so I can go back to stock clamps.

Over all though I'm pretty happy for 25 bucks worth of parts and only 20-30 mins worth of aggrivation.

I'm a designer at a commercial refrigeration manufacturer, I started to do the tube out of copper, but thought it might look bad LoL.

mine is a 3 inch pipe, fits fine.

As far as the white deckplate goes- Centerville Marina didnt have black and I didnt really care what the color was since its not that visible anyways.
