Interstate vs. Optima
Does anyone have any opinions on this choice? Am looking to replace the stock battery and would like to know the advantages of the Optima over a regular Interstate battery. The store manager said that the Optima is more vibration resistant than the regular battery and has a better replacement warranty, but are they worth the extra $40?

My opinion... NO!
I have had red tops and yellow tops and aside from the bling bling bragging rights, I have gone to the top of the line Interstate. If you look at the specs, there are Interstate batteries that are better than the red or yellow tops. YMMV

Thanks for the advice. I compared both batteries and and they're both the same CCA and the Interstate has 20 more MCA than the Optima. For the price I can't beat that. I'm not big into "bling bling" so bragging rights don't concern me. Getting stuck with a dead battery does. Enough said, decision made. Thanks again.
