Interior led question...

I just installed LED lights in the interior. I put 1 in the dome light and 2 in the map lights. The problem is this, the driver side map light works no problem however the passenger side does not. To rule out a faulty bulb, I swapped the bulbs and all bulbs work. I just have no idea why the passenger side light does not work.

polarity? LEDs only work if positive and negative voltage are on the correct terminals

So, can anything be done about this? Have you been able to resolve this or did you just not use the LEDs?

I don't really know, but you might be able to pull the map light down and switch the polarity from the back side. Either swap wire location to the bulb socket or cut and solder

Why would the one side not work but the other? Aren't both sides wired the same.

Ok, I fixed it. I feel a bit dumb after this one. Somehow, I managed to put the bulb in on the passenger side backwards everytime. I happened to try something very simple. I reversed the bulb and wouldn't you know it, it worked. Yeah for me. Thanks for the input.
