Intake Mod: PSP Hoses Same Location?

Hi all Yota fans!
I have a 96 4Runner, 123k and going strong.
I am interested in the intake mod, but when I look at the hose routings w/o the mod I see that one vacuum hose from the power steering pump goes to the resonator box and the other goes to the plennum which is the relocation spot for the mod. So moving the fpr hose and the psr hose to the plennum has both the psp hoses at the same vacuum source.
Is this a problem?

It looks like in the stock condition the psp would get some flow from the pressure drop across the butterfly valve.

I am thinking of doing the cap in place of the resonators and drilling a hole in it and connecting the fpr and the psp hoses there.

Also wont moving the fpr hose to the plennum effect its operation? Or is the higher vacuum part of the mod?

Thanks for your help.

You should have one hose from the PSP already going to the Plenum. That hose should stay there. The FPR hose should get attached to the plenum because it gets a MAP signal that way and it provides better fuel pressure. The PSP hose that is attached to the Silencer currently should be teed into the EVAP hose that runs from the EVAP canister to the Airbox just upstream the MAF.

This way your idle up feature works correctly. However, Micker has both his PSP hoses attached to the plenum along with the FPR hose and he reports no problems.

Hope this helps.
