Ok so I broke off my OEM standard antenna on my 2001 Tacoma in a car wash. I was going to just replace it, but then thought about getting a power one. I hear that maybe a power antenna for a 2001 4runner might work? Anybody heard of doing this, know where to get a power antenna, or any useful info on this? Thanks so much

Just stick with the standard antenna......power antennas are a pain in the ass......the motor just gonna die eventually and you'll have to replace it again.

 

change out the mast. check ebay

 

my power one has been dead for 5 yrs now i think. still works just the same.

 

i've never heard of a power attenae that still works on these trucks
