That's the cool thing: they are fairly easy to adjust. I just wanted mine for off road. (But they do work on dark paved roads too). I also just put some 100w replacement bulbs in there, and it really brightens up the night. About as bright as the highbeams.

Yeah I think that is going to be my next mod...haha. I was lucky though when i installed these...my truck is already wired for 2 sets of lights!

i wonder if the 2002 tacoma is pre wired like the 4-runners

I don't think so, unless it came with fogs from the dealer. IIRC, the bumpers on many of the 4Runners came with either fogs in them, or at least a space for them. Toyota didn't do that with the Tacomas until 05, I believe.

oh ok so how do i rig up a factory switch then? do i have to run the wires( the ones that come with the lights) up to the cut out and plug that way?? sorry guys never done one with the tacoma..

Yeah, Hella (and most other light manufacturers) give more than enough wire to go into the cab. In fact, I actually cut some off - it was too long. If you can get a Toyota switch (I've seen em on ebay), it's really no different than wiring it to an aftermarket switch.
