installed my 2" body lift today

Well I finnaly got it and put it on. Thanks to some help from NCSU4runner we got it on in about 3 hours. It is a lot taller and a much better looking stance. Now I just need to get some big mean tires. Probley 307/70/16 (33 12.50 16) but maby 315/75/16 (35 12.50 16). The 285/75/16 look pretty small now. I am have about 4.5" of lift now with the old man emu spring and 1" cornfed spacer and 2" BL not including the tires. I know the pics suck, it was dark but I will take better ones tomorrow. Thanks again Jeremy.

The hardest part of the hole thing was the front bumper. It was much harder to get off then the 4 bolt I was expecting to take off. It feels like we took 1000 bolts off to get it off. The steering spacer was a little hard to get to but not to bad. I loosend my auto trans shifter linkage but it didnt end up needing to get ajusted. Hopefully get the radiator droped this weeked and the shroud back on and also put my waag front runner back on.

Anyway what do you guys think about my runners new look?

Looks real good! I thought you were selling your 4Runner for a Supra? Or was that someone else?

lookin good, I will be eager to see the day pics, so you can really see the difference in the tire size. I have my 2" RB BL sitting on my floor waiting to get installed, but I am waiting to get 305/70/16's so i won't look so dumb. I can hardly stand it now with 265/75/16's w/ my OME lift!

Witch OME springs to you have. I started with 265's with my OME lift. They just look to skinny and short for a 4runner wheel wells I think. Then I got the cornfed spacer and got 285's. Now with the BL I want to get the 305's or 315's

Mov'in on up

315's would look sweet. They would rub like crazy, but if you just have a street queen then they'd be just fine.

315's are also dangerously close to having to regear...

mostly a street queen. If I am off roading it is nothing hardcore. I still dont like scratches or body damage. To high of car payment to tear it up. I think 315 would look like a bad ass but I am worried about the power loss. beings no sc or performance mods that make a difference.

looks good dude. got any daylight pics yet? specifically so we can see how much of the frame rail shows and how the bumpers look. I just want to see because I am thinking of doing it too. but I'd only do an inch unless I could figure something out for the TJM bumper.

Looks great. I think I am going to go with the 1.5" RB. It will help me install headers.

I like it!
