inner tie rod ends

how difficult are the inner tie rod ends to replace on a 1998 tacoma? mine is developing a knock and havent read to many articles on the subject thanks

Not hard at all, just a pain to get the outer disconnected. Get yourself a "pitman" arm puller from Harbor Freight, for like 15 bucks, works like a charm.
