Regearing will make by far the biggest difference for your money. It will probably be more than 500 bucks though for front and rear plus setup.

I'm sure I posted this earlier but the 7hp peak means nothing. It's the gains in the midrange. Look at that torque curve. You can gain way more power in the mid range and it doesn't show in peak numbers. Which these headers do.

I'd rather have around a 10 ft.lbs gain from 2000-4000rpm than say a 15 even 20 hp between 4000-5000.

3rd freaking time. Screw getting headers, exhaust, other crap.

YOU NEED GEARS!!!!!!!!!!! They will return your engines power to near factory specs and it will be much easier to drive along everywhere.

Headers, exhaust, all that junk maybe 20hp/tq but you wont feel any of it, sure the dyno says you got it, but you wont fell it. Add 50hp and you will not 15...

$500..Gears F/R or this--From this website: http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/tra...ickup_dual.htm I would get this: MC-14107, MC07-R10, 23 Spline Kit, $349 and this:MC-14211, 23 Spline Input Gear, $159, so it is a couple of bucks over. Than I could crawl over some big rocks.

It would do more for my fat buttdyno than an exhaust

I ran a K&N CAI on my '05 4.0 for 6 months, took it off and sold it on ebay and my mileage went back up for some reason...

EBAY! They sell on there all the time for 1000 - 1500. I have seen them go for under a grand from time to time you just have to keep an eye out.

In the long run yes and that is what make sthe SC cost some but it is ok to run the SC on the stock fule things. That is how TRD does it when they installed them at the factory and although you might be a little lean I have seen many SC trucks without any fuel mods that have 150k+ on them.
