Idler Arm Questions

Is Moog made specificly for Napa or is it just a brand that they carry? I have found that Napa likes to rebox pretty much everything in their boxes. Are there specific markings on the arm itself?
Thanks

I just got it today actually. This thing is beefy. It should be plenty strong. I'm going to try and get it installed later this week sometime. I will let you guys know.

I'm thinking about ordering that Downey brace. Keep posting about your idle arms because I've had the same problems. The Napa (Moog) parts hold up alright, but I've gone through two or three of them. I want to get a Toyota arm and the brace to put over it; that way I can change the bushing if it goes out and not worry about bending the arm.

When I tried to order a brace from Downey a few months ago, they asked if my idler arm was OEM or aftermarket. The Downey rep explained to me that their brace does not fit some aftermarket idler arms as the brace was designed around an OEM idler arm. Some aftermarket idler arms are thicker than the OEM ones explained the rep so the brace will not fit the thicker idler arms. I told them that it was an aftermarket and then told him that it is a MOOG after he asked if I knew what brand the aftermarket idler arm I had was. The Downey rep then told me that the MOOG is one of the ones that their brace will not fit.
Well, if you guys prove them wrong, I'll be getting me a brace too.

Hey guys, I remember I was charged like $200 for the new idler arm to be installed. Does that sound like an OEM arm price or an aftermarket price? Just curious... How much do they usually run? I didn't even bother asking because the whole lift situation was just one big mess anyways...

Gusset doesn't fit... So my choices are either get a new idler arm, or sell the gusset. What do you guys think? Is there an idler arm the gusset fits? It's far from fitting. The top part of the bracket that replaces the washer is way above the top part of the idler arm, if you know what I mean... This sucks...

I never bent my arm with the brace. Did rebuild it once. I added a grease fitting to the front so I can grease the bushings to make sure the dirt gets out (no cap with the downey brace)
This is with 35's and a locker too.
