How do I replace a blown ID bulb. I have a 1992 surf ssr_x Turbo diesel. My spare is not on the tailgate, so my id is in the middle of the tailgate. There are two screws that are on the lens of the id/reverse light, however when I remove them something still seems to hold everything in place. HELP

 

sounds like the same set up as my 91 sr5. ok heres what you got i think. you got the 2 screws out. carefully take a hold of the lense assy. and rock up and down and the unit should pull 2 fittings out of the sockets that hold them in. up and down though or you may break the fitting off. its fragile is what im saying.
