I should have listened to you guys!!

To make a long story short, it took 2 1/2 hours last night for the dealership to fix my fog light kit that I had them install 5 weeks ago. I was told that the brand new Hella Micro DE's they installed for me CORRODED in all of 5 weeks and that's why they stopped working. Imagine that???!!! $200.00 for a fog light kit that corrodes in 5 weeks. Needless to say I should have listened to you guys and purchased the PIAA lights instead...
In addition to that, while driving home, something kicked up off the road and cracked my windshield. Oh, did I mention that I just had the windshield replaced only 1 week ago due to the very same thing happening???!!! Thank God for glass coverage. Do you think someone is trying to tell me something???
Anyway, thanks for listening. I'm done venting now.

Get Hella to send you another set under warranty. Then SELL them on EBay and get the Stanleys or PIAA's (like we told you originally, j/k).

Sorry to hear about that! They say things come in threes. You are at your limit now.

1) first set of fogs gone bad
2) new windhshield a week ago
3) another new windshield this week

That should be the END!

Even in super dry/no rain Arizona. My Hella fogs corroded. Took 2 years and when I pulled them for the TJM bumper I actually poured water out of them.

Hey guys, mine stoppedd working a couple days ago too. I tried changing the bulbs, but that didn't work. One of the ligths still works, but the other won't

Will Hella really refuund these? I have had them on for like 1 year.

Hella was less than helpful to me. They did not want to warranty their lights.
I hate hellas... I am now unproud the owner of 500s, which I am not a fan of , but they came attached to a used brushguard. It was either a small rust scratch on each edge of where the Hellas used to attach to the brushguard or leave them on. It was a tough decision, but I left them on. **looks is all Hellas are good for in my opinion**

Even the replacement housing I purchased for my fog lights corrodded in about a year. I am very unimpressed with the cheapness of their equipment.
